Klemens Torggler hat das klassische Tafelbild untersucht und versucht das Bild von der Wand zu lösen und stattdessen als Strukturen im Raum zu verwenden. Dazu hat er Kunstwerke geschaffen und in weiterer Folge die ersten mechanischen Objekte kreiert, welche auch als verstellbare geometrische Skulpturen aufgefasst werden sollen.

Es sind nicht nur visuelle Arbeiten sondern Objekte, die zur Interaktion auffordern, die berührt und in Bewegung versetzt werden können und die so leichtgängig sein können, dass man das Gefühl hat, ins Leere zu greifen.

Obwohl die kinetischen Objekte als Designobjekte erscheinen, sind sie bis heute Kunstobjekte geblieben, d.h. es gibt keine kommerziellen Versionen, sondern nur Unikate, die sich zum Teil stark voneinander unterscheiden und sicher ganz anders sind als die Türen, die man normalerweise zu Hause hat.

Klemens Torggler explored classical panel painting, attempting to remove the image from the wall and use it as a structure in space, creating artworks. These works led to the first mechanical objects, which can also be understood as adjustable geometric sculptures.

Torggler's objects are not just visual works, but objects that invite interaction, that can be touched and set in motion, and that can be so light that one has the feeling of reaching into the void.

Although the kinetic objects seem to be design objects, they have remained art objects until today, which means that there are no commercial versions, only unique pieces, some of which are very different from each other and certainly very different from the doors you normally have at home.
